Bassy sounds = Omnidirectional

High sounds = Easy to locate

In the lesson we looked at these weird diagrams that looked like little 3D sound maps. They display the frequency, panning, and volume that the audience will hear. The depth of the sphere shows how loud or quiet that instrument is, the panning represents which side, left or right, the sound is coming from. And frequency highlights the pitch of the instrument.

Of course for different genres the panning, frequency, and volume of instruments will be varied or repeated.
