So after boot camping my laptop to run windows to then be able to run Facade Signage. After looking at more tutorials on Facade Signage, it looks very easy to use.
Now I have that part sorted, now it's time to work on the textures.

Making of the textures:
Lava-
Inspiration:
Using real photos and footage of lave I created a black background and drew random cracks through-out the background, then added an orange layer underneath. Now I had the basic colour scheme I added textures to the top and bottom layer, so the lava has a faint texture and the hardening lava on top also has a realness to it. Next was the glow of the lavas heat, which was very tricky to do. I tried using multiple layers and different techniques but found the simple use of a couple more layers and using the erase tool, gave me the glowing effect I needed.
Earthquake-
Inspiration:
This texture was very simple to me. Using the same rocky texture, I colour each layer, gradually getting darker to give the apperance of a deep crack.
Tsunami-
Inspiration:
Sadly this is one of my weaker ones as I couldn't get the 3D look right and the lighting was all different colours so it throws you off a little. Anyway, I gathered a few textures, like rocks and crashing waves, to compile them into one image that would represent a Tsunami. With a lot of Lasso tool, layers and blending I managed it.
Hurricane-
Inspiration:
Looking back on this image I now see ways in which I could improve the image to make it more hurricane like, but how I did this one was, with the use of real life images I cropped pieces of that image out to make a dark cloudy atmosphere and using the liquify tool, manipulated them to swirl like a hurricane. But now I realise I could of added more dark clouds and the eye of the hurricane to make it that more realistic.
